Information We Collect
We have options on our Website where you can submit information to us, and we also have features that automatically collect information from users of our Website.
Non-PII Information Collected Automatically and How We Use It
We collect non-personally identifiable information ("Non-PII") to identify computers that we have interacted with before. For instance, by using Non-PII, we may be able to identify a computer that has previously visited our Website to see the available properties. In the context of Non-PII, whenever we refer to "you" or "yours", please remember that we may be referring to a computer and not an identifiable person since we generally do not know who is using a computer at any particular time.
Through the collection and use of Non-PII, we provide you with the best possible experience and tailor our services to your interests and needs. Our purpose is to improve the overall quality of our Website and the services we provide and to help us provide faster navigation and access to the various sections of the Website. We may disclose this information to other persons for these purposes or for related purposes, including to information technology companies who assist us in constructing, designing, and maintaining the Website.
Non-PII may include the type of Internet browser used, the type of computer operating system, the computer's Internet protocol ("IP") address, the date and time of your visit to the Website, whether you have visited the Website previously, what pages of the Website you accessed and what you downloaded, and your usage pattern and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of various areas of the site.
We collect Non-PII through the use of cookies, pixels/tags, and related technologies. A cookie is a file on your browser that uniquely identifies your browser and computer. A pixel or a tag is a line of code which is used by a website or third party to assign online activities to a computer or browser. Though Non-PII does not personally identify anyone, we are still committed to giving users the opportunity to exercise choice about the Non-PII we collect. See the section titled "User Choice — Opting Out of Receiving Cookies".
PII Information You Provide To Us
We do not collect personally identifiable information ("PII") from users online unless users affirmatively and deliberately choose to release that information by submitting it by way of registering or enquiring on our Website, or by sharing it with us during a property tour, transaction, or other engagement.
Our registration or enquiry process requests certain personal information such as name, phone number (including WhatsApp number), e-mail address, and certain property information in order to assist you in effectively transmitting your expression of interest in our service. By providing us with voluntary PII, you consent to our using the data subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
We may use the PII provided by you to meet your needs, fulfil requests for information you submit, follow up on enquiries and ongoing engagements, and send you information, services, or updates that may be of interest to you. If you tell us (by accessing the opt-out procedure described below) that you do not want us to use the PII information as a basis for any further contact with you, we will respect your wishes.
Communications via WhatsApp
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform (operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to communicate with customers, prospects, and persons who have previously engaged with us.
When we contact you on WhatsApp: We will contact you on WhatsApp only if you have shared your number with us in the course of an enquiry, property tour, signed Letter of Intent, completed transaction, or other interaction in which you reasonably expected follow-up.
What we send: Messages may include re-engagement check-ins, alerts about new listings matching your stated interest, area-specific market updates, and follow-ups on prior conversations. All template messages we send for marketing purposes are pre-approved by Meta in accordance with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.
How to opt out: You can stop receiving WhatsApp messages from us at any time, at no cost, by:
- replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or OPT OUT to any of our WhatsApp messages;
- emailing us at enquiry@vintageproperty.in with the subject line "Opt out — WhatsApp"; or
- contacting our Grievance Officer (see below).
We will action your opt-out request within 24 hours and confirm the same to you.
Use of Automated Tools and Artificial Intelligence
To respond to enquiries promptly and consistently, we may use automated tools and artificial intelligence systems to assist in drafting communications and routing your messages to the appropriate team member. Specifically, we may use AI language models (such as those provided by Anthropic PBC) to help us prepare responses, summarise conversations, and identify the most relevant property matches for your stated interest.
All material decisions affecting you — including pricing, property selection, and contract negotiation — are reviewed by a human member of our team before they are communicated to you. You may at any time request that your communications with us be handled exclusively by a human team member, and we will respect that preference.
Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
We may disclose a user's Non-PII and PII when required to do so by law, for example, in response to a court order, subpoena or other legal obligation, in response to a law enforcement agency's request, or in special cases when we reasonably believe that disclosing your PII and Non-PII is necessary in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual prohibited activities, including fraud and situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or to protect and defend our rights, interests, or property.
If permitted by applicable law, we may also disclose and provide access to a user's PII and Non-PII to our vendors and contractors who are performing services on our behalf. These currently include, among others:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — for delivery of messages via the WhatsApp Business Platform;
- Zoho Corporation Pvt. Ltd. — customer relationship management software used to store and manage customer records;
- Anthropic PBC — AI language models used to assist in drafting communications;
- Composio Inc., Vercel Inc., Neon Inc. — workflow automation, web hosting, and database hosting respectively;
- Professional advisers — our legal, tax, and audit advisers, where required.
Such vendors and contractors are not permitted to use such user information for any purpose other than providing services to us. Where any of the above providers are located outside India, transfers are made only in compliance with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Central Government.
