Data Deletion Request

You have the right to request deletion of personal data that Vintage Properties — a real estate brand of Vintage Wealth Managers (India) Pvt. Ltd. — holds about you. This page explains how to make that request and what happens after you do.

This right is recognised under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and is described in fuller context in our Privacy Policy.

How to request deletion

Send an email to our Grievance Officer:

To: enquiry@vintageproperty.in

Subject: Data Deletion Request

Include in the body:

— your full name

— the phone number(s) or email address(es) we have used to communicate with you

— a brief note confirming you are the person whose data is being requested for deletion

If you prefer postal mail, you may write to us at the registered office address shown at the foot of this page.

What happens next

  1. Acknowledgement within 7 working days. We will confirm we have received your request and may ask one or two questions to verify your identity. We do this to protect you — we will not delete data on the strength of an unverified email.
  2. Action within 30 days. Once verified, we will delete or anonymise the personal data we hold about you, and remove you from any active outreach lists, including WhatsApp.
  3. Written confirmation. We will email you when the deletion is complete.

What we may need to retain

Some data we are required to retain by law even after a deletion request. This is limited to what is strictly necessary and is kept securely with restricted access. Examples include:

  • transaction records required under the Income Tax Act, 1961 and audit rules (typically up to seven years from the close of the relevant financial year);
  • records of communications and consent required to demonstrate compliance with the DPDP Act, RERA, and anti-money-laundering rules;
  • information needed to defend or pursue a legal claim until that claim is resolved or time-barred.

We will tell you, in our written confirmation, what (if anything) we have retained and why.

If you want to opt out of messages but keep your account

Deletion is the strongest action. If you only want to stop receiving WhatsApp or other communications from us — but keep your relationship with us open for future enquiries — you do not need to use this page. Simply:

  • reply STOP to any WhatsApp message you have received from us; or
  • email enquiry@vintageproperty.in with the subject line "Opt out — WhatsApp".

We will action this within 24 hours.

If you are not satisfied

If we have not responded to your request within the timeframes above, or you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India established under the DPDP Act.

Deletion is permanent. Once we have deleted your data we cannot recover it, and you may need to share information with us again if you choose to engage with us in future. If you have any doubt, please write to us before submitting the request and we will help you decide whether deletion is the right step.
